This half-day training course is aimed at all personnel involved in excavations where there is a likelihood of buried services.
The aim of the course is to train selected personnel in the skills and knowledge needed to achieve the standards of competence to carry out the duties of service location surveys before and during excavation.
Delegates are assessed by question and answer sessions during theoretical module. Then performance assessed during practical module. Course concludes with a question and answer assessment.

- Basic Service Location Theory
- Features and Functions of Cable Locators
- Features and Functions of Signal Generators
- Function Checking
- Practical Use of Locators, Generators and Accessories
All successful delegates will receive a detailed in house certificate, identifying that completion of the course was obtained
Maximum of 12 delegates per course.

If a delegate has any language barriers/ reading/ writing/ requirements, we must be informed prior to the day of the course, and we will do everything we can to accommodate them.
Important Information
Payment:
Payment is required at the time of booking by Card, however if you prefer to pay by invoice, we can email your invoice, but payment is required to confirm your booking.
If you are an account customer, we will invoice on your account after the training has been completed – however certificates cannot be released until full payment has been received.
Certificates:
After successful completion of the training and after the invoice has been paid, your In-house certificate will be emailed and posted.
